Queridos colegas,

Clayton

Dear colleagues,

The annual SHARP<http://www.sharpweb.org/> conference takes place from June 26 to 29. It is completely virtual and they welcome proposals for sessions in languages other than English (see the CFP<https://www.sharpweb.org/main/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/SHARP_2023_CFP.pdf>). SHARP is an international organization dedicated to the history of the book, understood in very broad terms as the study of the processes of authorship, publication, and reception of written texts of all kinds, including manuscripts. The focus of the 2023 conference is to "explore the opportunities and distortions or limitations that technology has created or is likely to create for book history." To avoid Zoom fatigue, the sessions will be one hour long, with only two presentations in each.

I would like to propose that we organize some sessions sponsored by ADRELA under the rubric of "Digital Approaches to the History of the Book in Latin America." The panels can be completely in Spanish or bilingual.

The only issue is that we have little time, since the deadline to submit the proposals is January 15. If you would like to participate, please let me know right away, to see what we can put together.

Sincerely,

Clayton
