Description: The next phase of the KRIA archival work is to tag each item in the collection with metadata so that it's easily findable. I am gathering a team of interns to add descriptions to the collection. They do not have to have prior knowledge of the constitutional saga or the Icelandic language. Through this internship, students will learn about constitutional movements, trends in data science, and a working knowledge of open source systems such as Omeka and Archiv-it/Wayback Machine. The final collection will be housed in both the University of Washington's Special Collections Library and the Icelandic National Archives. The schedule is flexible and I'm happy to provide letters of recommendation.
