Dear all,

The 2021 DHI Digital Projects Showcase is now live<https://dhishowcase.domains.unf.edu/2021/>! The annual DHI Digital Projects Showcase provides an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to share teaching or scholarship practices that use information technologies to solve problems in interesting or original ways. We invite you all to take some time this week to view and comment on the research projects. Thank you and congratulations to all participants!

A note of special thanks to Andy Rush (CIRT) whose creativity and attention to detail make this year's showcase a beautiful digital venue for our researchers to reference and link to in their professional portfolios.

Please join us on Friday, November 19, 12-1pm - we will announce the 2021 projects of merit at the start of our Fall 2021 Public Scholarship Roundtable: Anthropology & History beyond the Academy<https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Funf.zoom.us%2Fmeeting%2Fregister%2FtJ0tcO6prDotEtDcMUXGVSOWXXvN4hMdSZwO&data=04%7C01%7Ca.pfister%40unf.edu%7Cf8f8fd4fe3ba47d46cdc08d9a86683ef%7Cdf29b2fa8929482f9dbb60ff4df224c4%7C1%7C0%7C637725980514056456%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=RxiioST3k9IwRle4ovvc%2B1X1fvYxbYs9eUgNwvC3KL4%3D&reserved=0>.

  * Justin Sipes, Assistant Director, Center for Community-Based Learning, moderator/discussant.
  * Denise Bossy, Associate Professor of History, and Keith Ashley, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, scholars of indigenous Northeast Florida.
  * Kaley Crawford, Park Guide at Reconstruction Era National Park and Charles Pinckney, National Historical Site and UNF alumna in anthropology and history, representing national historic sites and parks, some of many community entities with whom scholars work to make scholarship more accessible to the public.
