Before you head out for the week, please note an important deadline of Thursday, November 23, 2023 @ 23:59:59 EST:

  1.  Provide comments<https://www.flbog.edu/regulations/proposed-regulations/> to the BOG on Reg. 8.005, General Education Core Course Options—specifically, the removal of Sociology as an option for the General Education Core


  1.  Provide comments<https://www.flbog.edu/regulations/proposed-regulations/> to the BOG on Reg. 9.016, Prohibited Expenditures

      
While there have been revisions to this        regulation to provide exceptions for "research activities" and for "classroom instruction," everyone I have talked to, from Chancellor Rodriques to our own Office of General Counsel, has indicated that institutes and centers are in the grayest areas of the regulation. Please provide comment on the overbroad nature of the BOG's definitions in the public comment section.
