[UNF-DHI] 5/16 Cemetery Volunteer Day

Hi, all—you are invited to participate in a unique field experience next Thursday, May 16, 10:30am, on the campus of Jacksonville University.

The historic Chaseville Cemetery, on the campus of Jacksonville University, is undergoing rehabilitation, including the rededication of the headstone of Cpl. William Johnson, of the 33rd Regiment of the USCT.

If you would you like to help restore a local historic African-American cemetery, then please join me and Dr. Gordon Rakita of UNF's Anthropology Department to volunteer to survey the cemetery to locate other stones and markers on May 16th, 10:30am, Jacksonville University.
