[UNF-DHI] Archives and Memory: Lecture and Student Research Exhibit

Dear all,

On Friday, November 14, the Fall 2025 "Archives and Memory"<https://unfdhi.org/earthawhite/archives-and-memory> speaker series will conclude with two events in the Special Collections Reading Room on the first floor of the Thomas G. Carpenter Library:

  *
>From Noon to 1 PM, Amelia Dixon, archives specialist with the Clay County Archives (and 2022 graduate of UNF's Bachelor of Arts in English program), will present the talk "Connecting Citizens with Local History through Government Records."
  *
>From 1:15-2:30 PM, students in IDH1923 Publishing Local Archives Online will present posters about the work they have done this semester with the project Editing the Eartha M.M. White Collection<https://unfdhi.org/earthawhite/>. This research exhibit will also feature a demo of the Eartha M.M. White VR Experience<https://libguides.unf.edu/VLC/EMMWVR> produced by the Eartha M.M. White Museum, UNF Special Collections and University Archives, and the UNF Virtual Learning Center.

The "Archives and Memory"<https://unfdhi.org/earthawhite/archives-and-memory> speaker series is presented by the Hicks Honors College in partnership with the Department of History, the Department of English, the Digital Humanities Institute, and the Carpenter Library.
