Call for Proposals: 2026 UNF Digital Projects Showcase
UNF's annual Digital Projects Showcase is an opportunity for faculty, staff, students, and community partners to share practices in teaching or scholarship that make use of information technologies to solve problems in original ways. The 2026 Showcase will be co-hosted on Friday, November 6, 2026, 3-5 pm, by the Digital Humanities Institute and the Allen Lastinger Center for Florida History in the Thomas G. Carpenter Library. For this year's event, we encourage submissions that consider the use of digital tools and methods in the recovery and dissemination of North Florida history, but welcome proposals on all topics related to the use of technology in teaching and research in the context of the humanities, fine arts, and social sciences.
The event format will be an interactive poster exhibit, with presenters encouraged to also provide digital demonstrations. All UNF faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate, and we also welcome proposals from individuals or groups representing other universities or cultural institutions in the North Florida area. Proposals can address projects at any stage of development and can focus on projects in their entirety or examine specific aspects of larger undertakings.
Proposals should be submitted by Tuesday, September 15, 2026, by completing this form<https://survey.unf.edu/jfe/form/SV_9KPbif3KuvO6T0G>. If you have questions, please contact Clayton McCarl<https://webapps.unf.edu/faculty/bio/N00693512>, interim director of the Digital Humanities Institute.
