[UNF-DHI] DH Student Showcase at 4/24 Student Research Symposium

Dear all,

The Office of Undergraduate Research has invited the DHI to host a Digital Humanities Student Showcase as part of the Student Research Symposium (formerly SOARS) on April 24. Students should submit their abstracts on the Student Research Symposium<https://www.unf.edu/our/current-researchers/Student-Research-Symposium.html> website, and when completing the submission survey, should select poster as their format and respond in the affirmative to the question "Are you presenting on a digital humanities project?" The deadline for submissions is March 29.

Please encourage your students to participate. I am available to answer any questions they may have.

Note that only students will be eligible to present at this event. Students, faculty, and staff will all be invited present at the annual DHI Digital Projects Showcase, which will take place on Nov. 6, 2026, in partnership with the Allen Lastinger Center for Florida History in the Thomas G. Carpenter Library. More details on both events will be shared at this Friday's Advisory Committee meeting and in upcoming announcements.
