1. The eight young people who are suing the WA state Department of Ecology to take effective action on climate change have been supported by a ruling that the state has an obligation to protect what it holds in trust-that is, a healthy environment. A comparable ruling was issued in a New Mexico case. Similar cases are in litigation by Our Children's Trust in five other states, and similar issues are the basis of a federal lawsuit. In the federal suit, major fossil fuel corporations and professional organizations are attempting to intervene to block action in order to protect their profits. http://ecowatch.com/2015/11/20/stem-tide-climate-change/?utm_source=EcoWatch+List&utm_campaign=b415b62e21-Top_News_11_20_2015&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_49c7d43dc9-b415b62e21-85965093 The Washington ruling does not direct the state to take new action, though it does acknowledge the state's obligation as environmental trustee. http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory/judge-denies-washington-kids-petition-climate-change-35329878

2. North Vancouver is the first city to mandate climate change warning stickers on gas pumps. The stickers are primarily educational. http://thinkprogress.org/climate/2015/11/20/3723989/north-vancouver-climate-change-stickers-gas/

3. 5. A new documentary by the director of Fast Runner interviews Inuits about the effects of climate change in the Arctic. Even the sun seems to be setting in a different place. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/arts/film/new-documentary-recounts-bizarre-climate-changes-seen-by-inuit-elders/article1215305/

6. The Guardian outlined the likely effects of climate change on the lives of four young children before the Copenhagen climate talks of 2009. Now it brings them up to date. http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2015/nov/22/paris-climate-talks-six-years-on-destroying-cattle-killing-fish ?
