1. Florida’s Department of Environmental Protection has issued a guidebook for coastal areas planning adaptation to sea level rise. This thoughtful guide should be of use to coastal communities, though they will need to attend to ground water levels as guides for drainage, water supply, and power risks not mentioned in the plan.
