[GWSG] Greenland's melt rates 100 times higher?

Estimates of the melt at Greenland’s glacial fronts have been based on models developed from ice shelves in the Antarctic. U of Texas researchers have developed an estimation based on Greenland’s glacial fronts. The new model has been supported by observations in Alaska indicating that the melt rate of Greenland’s glaciers may be 100 times as high as has been thought.
