[GWSG] Signoff and a rouse

As the century began I had been preparing to teach a course in the rhetoric and ideology of global warming. Reliable information was hard to come by. As I found my way to it, I realized others might be having trouble, too, and offered to share what I was finding. The list began to build. By 2004 it had become unwieldy and I was glad that UNF helped me establish a stable platform. They have kept it secure and have never before interfered.
I am glad to be able to sign off as the world's first conference to investigate ways to eliminate the use of fossil fuels is convened. Representatives from 56 countries and over 2,600 organizations are meeting in Santa Marta, Colombia, April 24-29. https://transitionawayconference.com/
I hope to see the day that the United States will join such a conference. Until then, a rouse for Angola, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Denmark, Dominican Republic, European Union, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Kiribati, Luxembourg, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mexico, Mongolia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Palau, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Portugal, Senegal, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, Türkiye, Tuvalu, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United Republic of Tanzania, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Vietnam. (And three others I have not identified!)
