Still, to the best of our knowledge the West Antarctic would still be unstable and we would still lose our coastal areas to sea level rise. We could prevent that by building ice cannons which would shoot trillions of tons of desalinated ice onto the West Antarctic.
As absurd as it sounds, at least we now know of one way to stop at least some sea level rise.
