<span style="font-size:12.0pt">1. Jacksonville FL’s city council will consider a package of recommendations from a sea level rise task force. The current draft recommends the appointment of a resiliency planning officer to oversee a vulnerability assessment

 and the disclosure of flooding hazards. The city should consider measures to limit damage, including prohibitions of development in and managed retreat from threatened areas. The city should “strengthen its efforts toward equity and environmental justice.”

 The city should consider forming a Northeast Florida Resiliency Compact, similar to the Southeast Climate Change Compact or the Tampa Bay Resiliency Group.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
