tree tops and the roofs of skyscrapers. A refiguring of elevation finds that hundreds of millions more people will be displaced by 2 and 7 feet of sea level rise than we had thought. The caveats warn that the new method probably underestimates the vulnerability
of coastal populations, and that the sea level rise estimates used are probably too conservative.
