Este instituto en línea de seis semanas proporcionará a los participantes capacitación práctica en la lectura y visualización de textos manuscritos coloniales (siglos XVI al XVIII). This six-week online institute will provide participants with practical training in the reading and visualization of 16th- to 18th-century manuscripts in Spanish. Selected participants will obtain and hone paleography skills for the accurate reading and transcription of these materials. They will also receive specialized training from digital humanities practitioners from the University of Texas at Austin and Lancaster University on several free and open source tools that can be used to facilitate collaborative research and visualize data in colonial texts.
