You are cordially invited to a celebration of the exhibition, Rendering Revolution/Revolisyon toupatou to be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, January 23rd at the Anna Maria and Stephen Kellen Gallery (66 5th Ave) in New York.

A bit about the exhibition: Rendering Revolution/Revolisyon toupatou delves into the profound impact of the Haitian Revolution on contemporary art and fashion. This bilingual exhibition is inspired by @renderingrevolution, a social media platform exploring Haitian visual culture founded by Siobhan Meï and Jonathan Square. Through a blend of fashion, textile art, and site-specific installations, Revolisyon toupatou showcases the genius of creatives of Haitian descent, inviting visitors to explore the enduring legacy of the Haitian Revolution and its powerful expression in art and design.

We invite you to join us on January 23rd to celebrate the work of the talented artists and designers in the show. The evening will include tours of the gallery as well as an artist talk featuring Daveed Baptiste, Madjeen Isaac, Saphyra Saint Fort, and Steven Baboun. The exhibition will run from January 1 - February 15 and is open to the public. Visiting hours are 12pm - 6pm, seven days a week. Our Instagram page @renderingrevolution has further information on planning a visit.

 We particularly invite educators to bring their students to the space and are happy to help facilitate tours and to provide learning materials if useful.
