[UNF-DHI] Editing the Eartha M. M. White Collection 2020

Hello all,

I am Carol Hemmingway, a History and Spanish major who is working with Dr. McCarl on the Editing the Eartha M. M. White Collection as an intern this semester. The project will continue in the form of weekly open workshop sessions at the Digital Humanities Institute Suite, 4/2800. Like previous iterations of the project, participants will transcribe and encode materials from the Eartha White collection using TEI-XML, the international standard for electronic textual encoding in the humanities. Participants with all levels of experience are welcome, and they are encouraged to attend at least more than one session.

Sessions will be on Mondays from 12pm to 3pm, starting January 27th. There will also be Tuesday sessions from 3pm to 5pm, starting February 4th. Feel free to come and go within those times.
