Call for Proposals: Supplementary Funds for Community Partners



This call solicits proposals from DHI Student Interns and DHI-affiliated faculty requesting limited funding (up to $500) to support work with community partners. Funding can be used toward honoraria for community partners; to purchase equipment* for community partners; and/or for travel to community partner sites or other specific, associated costs tied directly to work with established community partnerships. Funding cannot be used as supplemental pay for students or faculty or to purchase faculty or student equipment. Funding cannot be used to purchase food, drinks, nor gifts of any kind.


Please send a one page (max) proposal outlining a budget and justification for funds. Proposals submitted by student interns should be signed by the student’s faculty mentor, where applicable. Proposals are due 2/28/22 to DHI Director, Anne Pfister (a.pfister at unf.edu<mailto:a.pfister at unf.edu>). Supplementary funds must be spent before April 15, 2022.


(*equipment purchased will be DHI property and can be loaned to community partners, including long term loans, facilitated through DHI)
