Join Crisp Ellert Art Museum at Flager College and UNF Gallery Director and Instructor, Jessica Borusky, Tuesday, February 22 at 6PM for virtual talk in conjunction with artist Jillian Mayer’s current exhibition New Sincerity 2.0. You can register for the event via the zoom link.
Borusky is a curator, educator, cultural organizer, and artist- with a focus on contemporary issues in art and organizing, publics, performance, queerness, language, and expanded media. In this program they will discuss some of the ideas presented in their essay on Mayer’s work, to be included in a forthcoming publication, including the roles of audience engagement and reception of experience and objecthood. Borusky currently serves as faculty in the Department of Art, Art History, and Design at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville as Gallery Director and Instructor
