[UNF-DHI] LiDAR presentation at Rayonier next Tuesday

Greetings DHI community.

We are having a Northeast Florida GIS meeting next Tuesday at Rayonier, near Yulee. You may know that they are a large timber company, and they will present on their use of LiDAR for business.
LiDAR tech is very advanced and has led to a lot of recent archaeological discoveries, due its ability to “see” beneath tree canopies to the bare ground.

It’s used in many areas, and you will have chance to learn something new and meet GIS practitioners.  Our own student, Erin Ogrodnik, works there.
