1. The Great Dying 252 million years ago seems to have been triggered by burning coal, ignited by magma. The current climate changes bear a resemblance to those of the ancient period. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/climate-consensus-97-per-cent/2018/mar/12/burning-coal-may-have-caused-earths-worst-mass-extinction

2. The Virginia Institute of Marine Science is issuing yearly report cards for sea level rise to 2050 for 32 locations on the US east and west coasts. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/03/180312155421.htm

3. The required yearly US National Climate Assessment is drafted, and it is said to be a valid representation of our situation. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/energy-environment/wp/2018/03/12/the-government-is-close-to-finishing-a-climate-change-report-trump-wont-like-it/?utm_term=.9d1725d8cf0a

4. Bill McKibben considers that the greatest failure of climate activists has been in not informing the public and its leaders of the damage done by using natural gas. https://e360.yale.edu/features/how-climate-activists-failed-to-make-clear-the-problem-with-natural-gas-mckibben

5. Almost all sea turtles coming ashore in Florida have been female for several years. When the heat rises the percentage of females rises with it. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2018/03/13/almost-all-sea-turtles-born-florida-female-and-researcher-thinks-she-knows-why/419140002/?utm_source=EHN&utm_campaign=709914520d-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8573f35474-709914520d-99031877
