Kaiser Permanente, the country's largest HMO, is joining with NRG, the country's largest independent power producer, to cover its parking lots with solar panels, producing 6-8% of Kaiser's electricity and taking them toward their goal of reducing their greenhouse gas footprint "30% by 2020 and addressing the impacts of climate change on human health." I find that it disables many propaganda-influenced arguments.



6.  Willie Soon, an engineer with ties to Harvard through the Smithsonian Institution, has received $1.25 million since 2010 from the Southern Company, the American Petroleum Institute, the Koch brothers, and similar fossil fuel interests.
