1. A Dutch judge has confirmed a ruling of three years ago on behalf of 886 citizens calling for their government to achieve a 25% cut in emissions by 2020, almost double the current drop from 1990 levels. It would mean closing a new coal plant, among other measures. The judge ruled that the government could not hide behind the inaction of other countries.
